Day 1 Flight To Bodrum And Priene & Miletus & Didyma
According to your flight time,will transfer to Airport and upon arrival Bodrum Airport,you’ll be met by your guide and drive to Priene. Sitting at the foot of a magnificent cliff (Myclet Mountain), the city contains some excellent examples of Hellenistic art and architecture.The next stop Miletus, which is an ancient city near Akköy at the mouth of the Meander River, was once one of the largest cities in Anatolia and was highly prosperous due to its prominent place on trade routes. It was the home of some renowned philosophers such as Anaximander, Anaximenes, and Thales.You’ll arrive in the world-famous Didyma. Translating to “twins,” Didyma was thought to be the place where the Apollo, the twin of Artemis, dwelled. Therefore, in the ancient world, the site was considered as a major prophecy center dedicated to Apollo, similar to the one in Delphi, Greece. Day 2 Ephesus Tour & Flight to Istanbul
At your pick-up time,you’ll meet with your guide at the hotel and drive directly to Ephesus, the very core of the Aegean in antiquity. This port-city, whose well-preserved remains are restored to their former glory, will offer you an unforgettable sight.you’ll get to visit the odeon, the fountains, the temples, the brothel, and the glorious Celsus Library, which was the third biggest library of the ancient world, as well as the agora, the great theatre, the roman baths, the gymnasiums, and many others. Our route will lead you also to the Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the ancient world built around the perimeter of Ephesus.The Virgin Mary House, which is located on the top of the “Bulbul” mountain, 9 km ahead of Ephesus, is one of the other stops in our itinerary. After seeing the sacred shrine of the Virgin, you’ll enjoy a marvelous atmosphere hidden in the green. It is the place where Mary is believed to have spent her last days.
